I don't quite get which part you're referring to, sorry. As for dragon claws pre-EoC, they were really deadly especially in PvP, used for their special attack as a finishing attack. This thread, however, isn't suggesting any buffs for their current state, only suggesting to make them available in Solomon's Store in their older style as an override:
