I don't see why people complain about the SoF. So let's educate the kiddies.
1) If the SoF wasn't making JaGex some sort of money, why would they keep promoting it? They'd remove it. Not promote it. So obviously there's players out there who use it and aren't being as vocal about it as the forum babies are doing. We clearly see JaGex wants/needs money to update the game to be much better.
2) If the SoF was hated so badly like I see the forum trolls, and players simply trolling for attention of their forum peers, saying it was, why do I see 90% of players using it in the game? Or bragging how they bought spins? Etc etc etc?
3) Why make this game your life? You hate it, you like it. You know if you brought this trolling crap to another MMO, the community would tell you to grow up or shove it. The forums make Runescape's player base look like a bunch of crybabies. It's pathetic.
4) You hate it, do you think making &q**t;I hate SoF" posts. Or the constant b**ching is going to make any difference? Really? No. Hardly. We got free trade back due to it supposedly. But 9/10 complaining isn't going to get you anywhere, going to World 1 or 2 in Falador or Lumbridge and making a fuss works? No.
I see a major part of Runescape's player base using micro transactions. Sof or SgS.
Everyone uses it.
I see posts going against the SoF or the SgS are starting to become less. They were way out of control for the longest time.
My point being is you'll either come to accept what RS has become or you'll quit like you should have done a long time ago.
