Howdy.
Apologies to everyone that has been effected by the graphical issues that reared up with the latest update. In case you haven't visited the tech section of the forums, there is a temporary fix that will work until our tech teams track down the root cause.

Hi everybody!
To anyone who is experiencing graphical glitches since today's update (particularly in DirectX mode) - our development team are indeed aware of these issues and are dealing with them accordingly.
In the mean time, please try switching your in-game graphical display mode to OpenGL or Software. This should hopefully prevent the problems and allow you to play while the developers are working on fixing the underlying issues
To switch display modes, you need to head to the in-game graphics options, either via:
The login screen click the spanner icon in the top-right corner
The lobby (after logging in) click the Options tab on the right
In-game, click the cog icon in the bottom-right and then click the button with a screen/monitor icon
Once you get the Graphics Options interface, click the button labelled Custom. From here, you should be able to switch into Software or OpenGL display modes.
If you have difficulty accessing the graphics options interface, then you can force the game to re-run the auto-setup on loading by deleting the files:
preference.dat
preferences2.dat
In the folder:
%USERPROFILE%\jagexcache\runescape\LIVE
After deleting said files, load up the game and you should be able to change display modes after completing the auto-setup.
