Re-occuring members, if you want it buy the 3 month card, it stacks on your current membership.
Either that or stfu and stop whining.

Hi.
I am a re-occuring member and although I like the loyalty points I get, I do wish that I could somehow get the items the players who buy the 90 or 100 day cards get. They have had some cool items in the past.
I don't want to buy a 3 month card so it stacks with my re-occuring members payments. I have my membership re-occuring for a reason.
There should be some way we can purchase similar items through the loyalty points shop.
Comments like this from Enlarged It are annoying:

This is really stupid. I bought my membership online two days after this was posted unaware that i had to buy it in person to get a "holiday item". I'm not a terribly rich person so driving thirty minutes to a game-stop did not appeal to me when i could just buy the membership in the convenience of my home. This was a very inconsiderate thing of Jagex to do. I'm really disappointed.

Personally, I was rather disappointed with this item, nevertheless, another for my cosmetic collection.
As for all the comments previous, I can sympathise with players, who have been members continuously, who feel they've been marginalised by developers because of their loyalty. Yes, they do have the option to buy the game-cards since it stacks on top of existing membership - but what's the point when you're grandfathered in at a cheaper fee?
In relation to a previous comment, when I buy game cards, I don't do so specifically for the vanity item, the item is a free additional and promotional offer.

On a separate (sort of related) note, I was rather disappointed with the exclusivity of the (little known) Golden Katana to American players. I knew about its existence weeks beforehand and the way(s) of obtaining it -but I live in the UK. I do hope this will be promoted in other countries like the ornate, in coming weeks.
