lol@"the cool stuff"... I don't buy the cards for those things because I think they're pretty ugly.. Flaming skull? Ew.. Scarecrow mask? Ewier.. I only got the green skin unlocked because someone else bought the card for me .. Then I only wore it once when I was dressing my character like a strawberry. Turned out pretty nice. Strawberries<3

And what about members like myself and my family that have been reoccuring members for the last 6 years? We don't purchase game cards because membership is taken out of our bank each month. We lose out on the cool items each time. It would be pointless to purchase a game card and have our price go up when we resume automatic billing. Nice fail! :@

@Knight Scope... Not everyone wants or has the funds to purchase an additional 3 months of membership on their credit cards and then purchase a game card. Whether or not we get a 'credit', we should be awarded the same items as people that pay via the game card. I have been a loyal, paying member since January 2007 and I will not buy a game card just to get items that members that have paid via a credit card should get as well. It IS a loss in money... paying duplicate for 3 months is a waste whether or not it shows up as a credit later.

If you have recurring membership and activate a card, it just tacks on the time as a credit to your account. After the time period, the recurring membership automatically picks back up. No Break in Membership, No "boohoo i cant get cool st00f", No loss in $$ for anyone.
As you can see by my date, I have had recurring membership for many years and still have the cool stuff... Green Skin, Flaming Skull, and now the Evil Scarecrow Mask. "

^What "additional" 3 months..? When you have recurring membership, it automatically bills your card for membership ONLY when your membership is about to expire. I don't see where you're paying double like you claim .. You would lose some money by buying cards instead of paying the discounted fee via credit/debit card, but after you use a game card, it wouldn't make the $5 go up to the *7.. That discount will be removed once you stop having membership, not once you stop paying via credit/debit.

Pretty funny how Ive had reoccurring membership for well over the last 2 years and have never got any extra items. Funny how they can slap loyal players who have played n payed sense the game started right in the face and give them nothing.. This might just be the last month i get a membership due to the fact of how the jagex crew has been more motivated about making a buck then keeping the game fair to all.

I agree... I have a recurring membership which makes jagex more money...3 months at 8 dollars a month is more money than what they get on the card.....i would like to get rare stuff and not have to worry about buying a card activating it then cancelling my recurring then adding it again once the 3 months are up.....Ive been playing runescape since 2002...i haven't always had a membership but Ive been on for years just wish you guys really appreciated that more than just money. Thanks jagex for choosing quantity over quality

Why do you neglect the people who are paying with a recurring? It's ridiculous to mess over the loyal players who put their faith into automatic monthly membership renewal. It's highly unfair to the people who have no need to buying a card, yet are still paying for membership! Enough with these absurdities jagex.
