@Mod mike This is wonderful i wish this was effected a day ago, an hijacker manage to loot 12m from my bank. and left my account at lumbridge, Lucky i keep different items on different accounts i have i was able to recover more than they toke. And have great friends to hold certain items for me. Keep improving and reach for the stars Jagex. i would love to hear feed back from you guys, keep us posted. Ablazin Yang

Thank you for this update Jagex. Over the last few years I have been very impressed with the ways to protect your account that you've implemented. First with the email registration, which made it very easy to recover a stolen account. Second with the ability to change your name so that any new people you come across have no idea what your actual log in name is unless you tell them (although that poses a problem for people who have their email as the log in name and tell someone). The bank pin was also a huge security feature for anyone who banked everything of value between log in's. Now with the Jag feature that will virtually make it impossible for people to hack you without the use of Trojans and key loggers. The only other security feature I would really like to see is the addition of the phone application codes that are used by some other MMO's, if you can implement the applications that link your phone to your account with a code you have to enter that changes every so many seconds I believe you would have the most secure accounts in the gaming community.
PS. Get rid of facebook login, it's way too easy to hack someones account that way since most people are never logged out of facebook at their trusted computer.

ty sooooo much for the JAG guard i can feel better about going on vacations knowing i wont lose my account now

i have a question tho im getting a new comp on my b-day and i was wondering how will i log onto my acc with my new comp when im getting rid of this one how can i tell the jag guard that it will be my new comp?

This is gonna help a lot! My bro and I were both hacked at a point, my bro had a dragon full helm when it happened. He almost quit! This is an awesome update.

I've never been hacked, but a person can never be too careful.
On another note, why must the Raptor be the one advertising the JAG on the home page?
I hate the raptor.
He always steals my kills, he's arrogant, and he thinks he is the best even though his attacks are extremely slow and he gets hit often.
He only survives because he has better food than any player, and an infinite supply at that.
I want to murder him soooo badly.

So JAG applies to specific devices, not to the specific internet connection you are using. Correct?
For example: I currently use my laptop to play runescape both at college on their wi-fi, and at home on my personal wi-fi. Would I only have to register the laptop, or would I need to register the same laptop at both locations?
