Hey Mod Zach! I know you dont have to reply to this, but it's decently well thought out, give me some insight? I've never had a Jmod reply yet, so this will be interesting!

Just some insight/speculation though, based on what Mod Sushi_Pi said lately!
Maybe it's me being optimistic.
But the way Mod_Sushi Pi explained it, what with the whole check the news posts in the next coming days, for an announcement from a ''Higher up'' - being either the CEO or MMG sounds alot to me like the following.
With selling something many people have requested (bank slots) , and the amount they make from SOF/SGS combined, could this be something they sat down with IVP and discussed?
I mean, with the Golden Joystick awards and Runefest coming again soon, what better announcement ( from the CEO, no less) then to basically say, hey sorry with all you guys put up with lately, but look, we've been using these funds for the bot nuke/ better updates.
Along with that, more inventory? Why would we need that, unless the resources we fill our bank with are going to be easier to obtain?
Yeah. It's probably just me being optimistic.

The addition of microtransactions has allowed Jagex to nearly double the size of the development team working on the game and there are some awesome content updates on the horizon.
There is a very important series of newsposts coming which we know the content of, but can only hint at, and they address this specifically, which is why we keep saying to keep an eye on the newsfeed. Hopefully that wasn't too cryptic

All sounds good, It's nice to see real content mentioned :) However I can see the extra GWD drops as being the extra items that you can use in the EOC beta at present ;)

True. But the overwhelming flood of SOF / SGS updates that has been rained down on us lately - plus the lack of actual content - has made me extremely cynical about this issue.
I really do still hope that the tide will turn again and we will see Jagex release good content on a regular basis again :) Once you go NXT, you never go back.
