I think it was unproffesional they had nobody at all on their site informing anyone though. I mean a lot of people didn't even know the livestream was tonight since it was pushed off the front page really quickly.

@Tesni "That's not their job; their job is supposed to be to GET that livestream on the road, appear and talk on it, answer your questions. "
Not true - it IS their job. They always make a big deal about how they have different teams to deal with different aspects of the game. The technical team would have been working on the Livestream, the Community Management team should have kept the forums updated (they had enough time to update Twitter and respond to Tweets about how great people think they are and how one of the Mods thinks his T-shirt is cool).
Would it have killed them to take 10 seconds to drop a post in here?

>Implying livestreams are professional. Implying further that livestreaming amateurs are professionals.
Nice job. /golf clap.
@Kiwi Cacher: Yes. But they have PRIORITIES, which are taken for granted /anywhere/, even beyond Jagex. People need to do things. When they are usually working, they are working on a lax schedule- they have breaks, they have discussions, they get to multi-task freely.
Here? They were working on tight boundaries, trying to make something of themselves. Do you HONESTLY think that they aren't watching this as well, as fretting about on their own time?
On a side note... As another question towards Mod Osbourne:
The story of Da-Vi, Vetruvius, and his apprentice in the Elemental Workshop series; how far will the difficulty go? I am hoping it does not end up in Grandmaster territory, or even deep into Master territory because of its skills.
How do puzzles incorporate into the difficulty rating?

Their community management team are professionals. Their technical team are. So while fair enough the livestream had difficulties the website was left without information. Also as I said many people I know had no clue it was on due to the newspost not even being on the front page anymore.

Just. Stop talking. Entirely.
I appreciate all the discussion, and logical debate; but this is not the place. Maybe it's the time, but not the place.
It is also very pretentious to believe that it was their intent to keep the event posted for everybody to see, since this WAS technically a work-in-progress; I assume they wanted crowd control.
The real important live-stream was on the 9th. They had today, and now tomorrow, to patch things up.
Back to QUESTIONS. And yes, I'm rationing them out in between my posts.
In Deadliest Catch, the Mermaids were introduced, and even expanded upon in the Queen Black Dragon's back story; how influential will they be in future nautical adventures?
Do you have plans for the rest of the Mermaids, or even in expanding the nautical mythology of Gielinor in the coming year?

@Tesni Ithell Fair enough it was crowd control but there was another issue I had with their CM this week too. The deal with the promisary notes and people not getting them. If you go to the promisary notes thread you will see other players had to provide the information. I shall leave them feedback on this of course. I just feel their CM is slacking a bit.
