This excessive greed is beyond ridiculous. It is downright dishonest. Not only do we pay even more in subscription than we used to for no more updates than before nor of better quality ones but we are plagued by ads from JaGex ingame to suck even more of our cash into the game. This is leaning more and more towards pay to win within a game you pay to begin with. It has simply become too much to ignore. I won't support such business practices any longer.
I am unsubscribing.

At first I was outraged at this development of the Solomon's General Store, but after reading some posts, I've become more sympathetic.
First I'd sincerely like to thank the few jmods who took their time to answer some of our many questions. I'm looking forward to this "big announcement" that will come forth soon.
I'm still saddened by the fact that the issue of "selling exp" has not really been addressed however. Let's be honest, the Squeal of Fortune, while not always giving lamps on every spin, gives enough exp lamps to merit people buying a plethora of spins. I hope this will be addressed by the mentioned "big announcement/"

So freaking what if Jagex rwt's in solomon or whatever. It's their company. If you don't like it you're free to leave. I'm not even going to benefit from this update and I'm happy for the people who will. There's just too many damned crybabies on these forums bemoaning a business making money.

50$ for 250 bank spaces... And yes, people do this kind of stuff.
There's even a level 3 skiller who RWT'd almost 8,000 USD (Yes, eight thousand) for 99 Slayer. And you know what? There's other people doing the same thing as well.
It's not like this stuff doesn't happen. That's a pretty serious issue if people are literally buying their 99s, so I'd have to imagine people wouldn't hesitate to get the pretty big advantage of 250 bank spaces.

Just wow. I can't believe you guys are making people pay for bank space. This entire company is just becoming more and more money-hungry. If I was still a member I would definitely cancel my membership right now, but I've already decoded to stop paying for this game.
First the quality of updates went down, now everything is about Jagex's RWTing, squeal wheel, the stupid general store, etc. I'm sure you know this game is dying. Most of the total players being shown as online are bots, and you guys know this. The bots are the real problem that need some dealing with but you still don't do anything about the issue.
You might be enjoying all the money the bots bring in right now from memberships, but your real players are slowly leaving and once all the real players are gone, bots will also be gone.
I would not be surprised if RuneScape is dead in a few years.
