Its not an advantage, its just convenience for more space.
Do you have to buy them now? no. you can wait until the loyalty release.
If you are not going to get it or have active feedback, you do not need to repeat what others have said already. They need actual feedback on stuff instead of "this sucks".
Bottom line, they are not making you buy them, its more of a convenience of being able to store everything, it wont change your xp/hour or give you coins... Its more bank space and you can either get it or move on.

I actually like this. People have been saying they'd pay for extra bank space for a long time, so they finally did it. But all the people too obsessed with SOF and SGS hop on thinking it's just another step toward destruction. They simply have a means to let players have a bigger bank now, and that was through SGS AND the Loyalty system.
I also like the Jagex Mod involvement. Despite them wading into the shark infested waters that are the forums of any update such as this, it's still nice to have feedback of any sort.

So, with all the negative responses on RS forums and The official Runescape facebook page, Which are heavily outnumbering the positive feedback, what do you have to say about it all Jagex? Or are you just going to ignore how the majority of players feel about the update because this update makes you money..?

Sample bias - it could be the majority, but it could also be the vocal minority - your "statistics" (or, more accurately, your lack of valid ones) do not back your conclusion.

Saying that every god damn time in the past 6 months that it's been the minority posting is idiotic.
When working at Symantec we had a simple theory - Only 2 types of people will respond: Those who LOVED the service they got and those that HATED it. This is completely true. However, when you rarely, over the past months, see anyone posting positive... I think the people hating it FAR outweighs those that love it.

This is just scummy. It was bad enough that we had to buy animation updates, now we have to pay for more bank space??
Why? We already pay 5-7 bucks a month, so why can't you just give us more bank space for free like you have in the past? Is Jagex really that financially unstable they need to have us pay extra for updates?

I don't have a way to buy coins online and the nearest walmart is over 40 miles away from me. (not to mention that I already managed to by a card from that "nearest" walmart not too long ago) I already spent my runecoins, and as much as I hate microtransactions in general, These outfits and animations are actually pretty cool XD
Are they availible at the loyalty shop now or when are they going to? I wasn't able to find them. I'm just excited because I have some loyalty points saved up :3

So selling x RuneScape Gold Coins for x Real Life Monies isn't selling RuneScape Gold as long as x is a randomly decided random number.
