To be honest, I might've suggested this myself and I saw it being a strong possibility. And anyway, it's far, far better than selling quests, abilities, OP items, or skills.

Please tell me this is a joke!
i have always strongly disapproved of both the SoF and solomons general store but before now it was the SoF that i hated most because it actualy gave advantages to a player such as free xp and cash but you can now buy extra BANK SPACE come on jagex this is MAD!!!
we will never support real word trading you say hmmm.. so what is solomons then??

It ABSOLUTELY IS an in game advantage.
What do you use your bank for? To store your items, to hold onto resources, to store equipment to sell it for more later. If I have more bank space than you, I can store up more resources instead of having to buy and sell them, I can get more XP than you, I can get more GP than you, I can afford and can store more and better equipment than you, and using that, I can pwn you in the wildy.
And from the way you talk, you couldn't beat an egg in the wildy as you have no idea what this game is about.
Are you going on the theory "If I tell a lie a thousand times it becomes the truth"?

@mod zach Lets say this. *I purchase 250 bank spaces* (I would never because its ridiculous) I am now able to store what i previously was able to store and had to drop. Items such as potions of every singe dose. I wouldn't have to worry about turning them into the same numbered dose i have stored in my bank space (Giving me more time to potentially earn xp and ability to gain more money instead of just dropping them) -that is an in game advantage and is why I am choosing not to support jagex anymore, as i should have done earlier-

I have a hard time believing you play runescape. If so, i would think your opinion would change about the sof and sgs
IF YOU CARED ABOUT THE COMMUNITY THERE WOULD BE NO UPDATES THAT CAUSE THIS TYPE OF CONTROVERSY.

The only reason i have played runescape over the years with different accounts is that this game wasnt for purely profit.It cared about ppl opinions on every update.
But now?
Squeal of fortune: Okay its good. kinda
Buying spins in squeal of fortune: Okay noone likes that.
Solomons generals store: "purely cosmetic items" okay better be.
Bank Boosters: Jagex is purely out on profit
What next? EOC? Nobody wants that but you will still force it in-game.
Will you ever stop ruining this game i used to call runescape?
If Andrew Gower was in charge this game wouldnt get ruined

I won't buy it; I don't have a personal problem with the update however. I'm happy with the space I have.
I do think considering the fact that SOF and SGS have been so controversial JaGeX should poll players before expanding those programs. I don't care if they give out water balloons or grills or lamps. I do find it bad that players are losing faith in the entire game just because of a few nonsense updates that probably shouldn't happen.
The other update looked good and I'm looking forward to trying the new Al Kharid when it's out. Seriously consider what the folks posting say, 'the customer is always right' after all.
