Is it possible to bring back the archive of older updates? It was really handy to be able to reference old updates from that, which I actually do on a regular basis. In addition, it's just nice to read through where the company's come in the last 10+ years.
The added player comments on those threads were great, also.
Please bring the archives back!

It's nice indeed to have this forum for discussing news-post, though I have a few thoughts to share.
Aside from being in concurrence with the thoughts of bringing back the archive of older news-posts, a fair number of which did indeed contain plenty of interesting posts, and moving this forum back to the top where I also feel it better belongs, I'm curious regarding discussing news-posts for newly added game content here.
It's a bit redundant to have a thread to have discussion, and presumably feedback, regarding a recent game update both here and in the 'Recent Game Updates' forum, so any chance it would be plausible for there to be a single thread for such cases, but exists in both forums simultaneously?
It would be noted, of course, once the mirrored counterpart in the Recent Game Updates Forum is un-stickied and locked, the same would not happen to the one in this forum.
All that aside, once again, nicely done with the forum :) . Just your friendly neighborhood team player.

I've been watching News and Announcement forums for years, waiting for the thread count to finally hit 1000 to see what you'd do when a thread would be pushed to page 51. You were less than 30 threads away.
You originally had those threads open for a certain amount of time before locking them, then started locking them straight away so all the feedback would be collected in the recent updates section. Now you open this up in a similar manner, only now we've lost all the threads in the old forum that served as an archive. Could you please bring the forum back, even if posting is prevented?

Ah thank you Gad Zook - I'm that they put it somewhere. I had found the most recent ones in the new game content and then since I never normally go to the 'general' section, I had googled "runescape+patch notes" and the new ones came up but not the whole thread. I'm really happy it was kept somewhere. =) Now that I know that the history of patch notes has been kept - I'm really excited about this new way of letting us discuss things. =)

I see many don't favour the Runescape news! But tell me how would you know of new game content, upcoming mini games and even new quests?
The news has its ups and downs like all the other sections in the forums. I find these useful so then I know about everything going on in Runescape.
