The news only goes back to beginning of the month (I just checked). I thought I could find earlier news articles here without having to bother with the grueling navigation system of the news section on the website, but I guess not.
Do you guys think you could actually improve the navigation system of the news section to where you don't have to view every single page just to get to an article many years back?
Here, I'll give you this strawberry if you keep it a secret!

First off I just want to say that some of the stuff in EOC is great, I love the abilities and the dual weaponry. However there are some things that I’m having a problem with.
Okay, I'm here to complain a lot. I’ve played this game for over 9 years and several months so I know what I’m talking about. I'll be posting this on several forums and emailing this to you guys in Jagex cause you ****** up the game a little bit and I'm going to tell you the problems with the eoc.
Pt1 F2P: I think that with the introduction to eoc, free to play players should have the right to use range and smith melee dual weaponry up to rune. Its only fair, free players should be given a taste of the full eoc experience after all.
Pt2 Skilling interface: First off the new interface takes to long and doesn’t offer the range of possibilities that the other one did. It’s difficult to use if you want a specific amount of items to make. Second the runecraft interface in dungeoneering and at the altars is harder to use. It makes no sense what’s so ever. Also since you refuse to return the elemental dung staffs, can you make the catalytic staff tier match with the logs being fletched and offer the possibility to craft wands in dung?
Pt3 Magic: I think its ridicules that you got rid of the mind, chaos, death, and blood runes in the regular book spells. It makes no sense to get rid of them because they differentiate the different spell tiers. It also makes the mentioned runes basically useless causing the price to drop in the GE and adding another strike against Gielnor’s economy. If you could please return those runes to their right full place we’d be most grateful. Also could you seperate the magic book and abilities into their own slots? Although it is now much easier to access spells from the mage book then it did in beta, its still quite clunky to use. It would be better if they were in their own areas for easier access.

Pt4 Prayer: Many players such as myself, have found that prayer’s and curses are woefully unbalanced. It be better if the protection prayers/curses were back to 100%. Having those prayers/curses at 50% do nothing to help the players. With abilities a player fighting could use all kinds of attacks other then melee. An example is a player with dual melee and range could attack another player using a melee protection with both magic and range abilities. This makes the current 50% protection so useless. Protection prayers/curses are stackable, so the player would still get damaged with melee while taking magic and range. Also it’s harder to fight monsters; I know that the regeneration ability helps, but that only works when in not in combat. In a multi combat area full of aggressive monster you cant use that ability to heal. How are we suppose to get to GodWars to fight bosses, or past the mutated terror birds to fight the quest boss, when we use all our food just getting there? I do not believe that restoring the 100% of curses/prayers will make it over powered.
Pt5 Weaponry styles: I believe that the current way that players now receive experience from attack, isn’t as good as the original way. The four weaponry styles on each weapon balanced the game better. I think that when you click on the XP button it should take you to the four weaponry styles. This makes weapons more versatile and a better gaming experience. Currently we have to take many weapons with you when you originally only needed to take a few. Its also easier to gather combat experience and how you get it. Melee and range once had this, but in the old system magic did not. But now you can add magic weaponry styles. Here are several examples of styles for magic I’ve come up with; like defensive (Def, magic XP), long range (trades power for distance), short range (trades distance for power), aggressive (Att, magic XP), and forceful (Str, magic XP).
