- And also to give your phone number, and refrain from consenting to the fact that businesses can call you despite your reservation Reservation Register, advises Consumer Gry Nergård.
Negative sales
Many contests and surveys is used to sell various goods and services. Often portrayed this as you can get a no-obligation sample by answering a few questions, while in reality includes a subscription to the product or service.

Check this before you participate in contests:
• Read the terms and conditions carefully before you check that you accept them.
• Find out who really is behind the competition.
• Requires participation that you will be contacted with offers from the trader or partners?
• Be wary if you have to give you much information about yourself to participate.
• Consider carefully the offers you get by phone before accepting the offer in writing.
• Remember: Even if you have the right to withdraw consent to receive marketing, this is not always so easy in practice. The information can be spread to many different senders.
