Like a few others, I'm all for seasonal events. It's enjoyable to be able to explore a eventquest, don new armour or accessories, wield eccentric new weapons, or just to be a part of the event with others; chat, lol, befriend, or annoy people;........
but.... it's a shame that RuneScape has changed so much for it to be a part of THIS kind of event.
Over 1 million XP, 91 bonus spins on the Squeal of Fortune, and nine new items? Sure, my fellow players and I will chomp at the bait--
Although, what is the fun in this when the only struggle for this event is to manage to inch the mouse over and loyally click the "Purchase" button.
....A million xp?... Reminds me of the longggg time it took me to claim my Fishing Skillcape as my own, (over a year), as well as my Defence Skillcape... and now you're dangling a million xp in the faces of those who worked for their levels so that newer prey will bite?
Although the new things are nice, where is the challenge in this? It's still sort of like when people purchase lvl110+ accounts and their items without doing the work.
Step back from the fishing dock a little, and leave us sharks in anticipation for the next chomp.
