Sorry Moerdred, but I completely agree with Rufus on this one.

Numbers will always be arbitrary. You can never really find a "right" amount. I think Jagex has chosen pretty well; 4 would be reasonable to most of the community. Give 20 and there'd be a huge outcry, don't you think? (Besides making this supposed once-in-a-Runescape gift less meaningful.)
Rufus: They expire, and even if you think what happens, does actually happen then after a short while (few months tops) everything will be as it was.
Moedred: Nex equipment does not leave the game unless a player has been hacked and their items alched. A player dying and losing nex gear in the wilderness is one a thousand, for their price, nobody uses them. You don't lose them in PvM due to 4-item protect rule.
I think Rufus's point was that Jagex's gifts expire, not the Nex quips. I think the more pertinent point, though, is that there are only 4 we can take tops. And even allowing for the (ludicrous) possibility that every single Member who can will take 4 darts and go Nex-ing, I don't think there would be so huge a change in Nex prices as to cause the end of the world. Thankfully, I personally cannot, my Combat level's too low, so that's one down. In any case I'd prefer the deposit box, and I don't think I'm the only one.
CONCLUSION: Compared to the doomsday scenarios posited by everyone else about how Jagex was mercenarily going all money-for-exp-and-godly quips on us, I think this is more than a good compromise. Be glad for their effort at novelty and fairness, qualities that are so often contradictory in MMORPGs!

nex and stages, bah
she has 1 health bar(i saw it last week, got the frozen key for the darts
), and as far as i know, the dart reduces the health bar to ZERO, so the stages won't even take place... i hope it will be this way, otherwise you would need all 4 for 1 kill...
