Wow, I always hate to see that people in other countries are not able to get any of the benefits of these cards. Jagex, you guys should come up with a way to allow players to claim these prizes as long as they pay the appropriate amount before the due date.
Well, I am off to get me one of these cards.
I like what you guys did with soloman's general store. That is RWT that I can handle. Cosmetic, fun, and no gambling involved!

Ya know, this is pretty awesome! Everyday after school, before work, I'd run across the street and hang out at the stores over there. If I needed a membership, I'd run into gamestop and buy a card. That's the only way I ever got my memberships, so when stuff like SoF or this new awesome Soloman's Store came out, I didn't really have a way of buying stuff from it. I'm happy these new cards are coming out, and I can't wait to get my hands on some! :D

"Selling to the Yanks first?Jagex you are a British company, granted owned by Americans, but where is your loyalty?? ****** *******."
First, they're selling to the best buying demographs out there. British players aren't the most common source of income on that front, so the US got first dibs.
However, as an equal example, Japan and their releases of many of their video games and consoles are released in Japan because those that live there are more likely to buy them on day one, and then continue profusely afterwards. US isn't as likely because we're stubborn.

And to answer those that have said that this is bad, how are cosmetic things bad? And the odds of someone actually getting something worthwhile on the SoF is nigh impossible.
I'd like to throw it out there that Riot Games and their game League of Legends employs a /very/ similar tactic... players that pay for these sorts of things get cosmetic benefits more often than not. Granted, you can buy champions and exp boosts, but that would almost be a waste of the points spent if you don't buy the special skins for your favorite champions.

Solomon's general store I see in the very same light as League of Legend's skin store; cosmetic, and for ***** and giggles.

Amazing how Jagex, a British company, state prices of promotions ONLY in US Dollars.
I understand that Walmart is an American company, but Asda (in the UK) is part of Walmart so surely they will be there too?
Basically, why isn't it being displayed in Pound Sterling?

Gratz on the micro-transactions Jagex. If you keep this up, this game will continue to go down hill.
Listen to your players for once, before doing all these lame RWT-microtransactions, make a poll to see how many players ACTUALLY want it added to the game WE play.
