Because you're exactly right, Gold Premier members already have a years worth of membership. They are for at least the current year, a yearlong loyal customer. Now why would you go and make them pay for 6 extra months of membership, that they probably won't use if they continue buying yearly membership deals?
If it's really that valuable, offer the benefits in the form of a non-membership package. Although in all honesty, Premier members have been scammed enough considering they haven't received many of the benefits they were supposed to such as the monthly Q&A's. Offering the summer package benefits aside from the extra membership without the price tag to them wouldn't be a bad way to make it up to them. Pray for the Wicked—
