Oldschool is a separate game. RS3 is the same game you played years ago, just with years worth of updates, where as OldSchool is a reboot - therefore, your account retains its stats on RS3, but not on OldSchool.

It's a t75 staff (at best) that provides its own water, earth, and fire runes. It can be reclaimed for 500k, and cannot be augmented. In order to use it for combat, you still need to provide air or blood runes for your spell at the very least.

For t75 staffs, we have:

The enhanced ancient staff (though it is locked behind the higher reqs of the elite desert achievements)
The greater runic staff (can be charged with 1000 casts of a spell of your choosing to save inventory space)
The polypore staff (is charged with its own spell and can be augmented)
The Staff of Light (chance to save runes and can be augmented)

For free runes, we have:

Combination staffs that provide 2/3s the utility of the staff and can be upgraded (and then can be augmented) to level 82
The elemental staff (provides unlimited water, earth, fire, and air runes)

We've got equal or better options for every niche the Mystical Staff has, so I see little reason to return it.

Unless Edgeville being destroy was a world event. The current Edgeville I have is the one before the dragonkin destroy in the quest line so what happen to me ? Will I be able to join in to help rebuild Edgeville if it was never destroy for me ?

As a long time player - can't believe there's no Easter Event this year?!!! Sorry, but none of these events sound very interesting, just weird. Firemaking...seriously? Awww come on guys!!!
How about fixing the economy and giving players some real chance at earning some great stuff? It would be great to reward players, especially long term ones a chance at some nostalgic items, like real party hats, upgrade things that used to be a big deal - in the Armour category. I guess I'll just stay on Old School.
