I would just like to say thank you for this. I was long anticipating capes like these. I was extremely excited when the 5 year cape came out. I felt the same way when the 10 year came out! I'm going to wear this cape with pride. Can't believe I've lingered around Runescape for that long. It's been a great experience, and one that will continue for many years to come.

So I logged into both of my old school accounts that were made in 2001 this one and another. Neither of them are able to get the cape? What's the reason for this? It's kinda silly too since the one account has my original recoveries set in Feb of 2002 and it says that on my log in screen and yet I can't get the cape? What's the deal jagex?

You can check how long you still need to play by talking to Hans and then selecting the "Have you been here as long as me" option and then when it comes out it will say something like you are eligible for the 5 year cape but you need to wait X days for the 10 year cape in the chatbox, (Hans doesn't say it)

lame iv had one account this one and iv had it and played it on and off since 2000 i remember cuz that was the year i was in middle school and what not but i can for some reason only get the 5 year vet cape hell i remember when they had every one log into the rs we know now so we can keep our stuff when it was released. jagex please help me!?!

when the cape first came out it told me I needed a little under a year for the cape, this was months ago, when I checked with hans a month ago he told me I had more than a year to go. How could I need more days instead of less? I was already beyond upset at jagex error of making myself and lots of others believe we made our accounts before february of 2002 due to it saying our recovery details were set around that date but having my days go up instead of go down is what I feel them trolling me at this point
