Just to point something out for the Double XP Weekend in regards to Invention

If Invention wasn't included (Way it is now)
Non-99/120 Invention players: BOOOOO so lame people got 99 already
99/120 Invention players: Fair enough, I'm glad we didn't spend our banks in vain

If Invention were included
Non-99/120 Invention players: LOLOLOLOLOL GF people who spent bank LOOOOOOL

While I cannot say much about the rest of Jagex I do not agree with what you have said about Andrew Gower. This man did not expect Runescape to become so successful (or long lasting). I read in an article Andrew left Jagex to pursue other projects Jagex (and perhaps the RS community) would not have approved of. If I were in Andrew's place I certainly cannot see Runescape being my life's work. Surely, life is about more than just Runescape?

If Andrew wants to develop gaming software at a new company of his that's his choice. You and other RS players are not in any position to judge him for this. At this point I'd rather lay the blame at the feet of Jagex's current management for the game's current state.

Andrew Gower is hardly a sell-out. There are loads of people who leave the organizations they founded (e.g. MADD's founder). In Andrew's case he just wanted to do something else and that is fine by me.
