To all JMods,
the reaction from my fellow players shows 1 thing: We all love Runescape from the bottom of our hearts. I went to the mainpage to check if BTS May is finally out. I can't wait to see news about Tuska and hopefully even Addy and Rune Dragons. And what I see is another game Jagex tries to launch. Perhaps you'll succeed with it, perhaps not.
The long-term players have seen Runescape's good and bad times. We have seen Wildy and Free Trade being removed, SOF (and later Solomons) and EOC being released, which took such a heavy toll on the community. We all had friends who left the game because of such updates. But we still love this game and we still are here. We want to see Runescape Updates. Lots of them!
The main problem was already pointed out: Money was spent, which could have gone to Runescape. There are so many good ideas on RuneLabs. Everyone has a dream about something that would improve Runescape. The thought we players have is that there could have been tons of updates on this game, if you had not launched another one. You may say that is not the case, but the feeling won't change.
A message like this is what we would love to see:
"10 more Ninjas hired to make Runescape the best game of the world"
The good thing about this is that it shows how much the community cares about Runescape
