The 2012-13 packages were available from 20 December 2012 to 4 February 2013.


There is no way you could buy premier membership for 2013 in april.

Most of you people seem to forget or not know that you can pay for the membership with in-game money.
Bronze = 3 months = 6 bonds = 42m
Silver = 6 Months = 12 bonds = 84m
Gold = 12 Months = 24 bonds = 168m

What's funny is I paid the full year when bonds were being sold for a lot higher, so I paid about 220m, so if you have any money at all for any of these 3 packages, DO IT.

Think about it. Even just the normal 1 bond for 14 days of membership. If a bond is worth 7m like it is now, that means you only have to make 500k a day to continue paying for membership with in-game money and never real money. You know how easy it is to make 500k? There's so many guides on youtube, and if you are lucky enough to be able to kill any sort of dragon, you could get that in an hour or less. Hell, with frost dragons, you could get that in about 10 minutes, lol.

Why I didn't get premium this year but I did last year:

-The monetary deal was much better last year. I pay 5 a month still because I'm an old loyal player, so the pure money aspect was an insult. It cost me over 20 extra dollars. It was not a deal. Last year cost me extra too, but it wasn't as much.

-Loyalty points instead of runecoins. Another insult to me, being a long term player. Loyalty points are supposed to be given for loyalty , not irl money. Not to mention you can't buy anything good with loyalty except a few decent auras which I already have.

-Pigs were offered instead of something cosmetic like my bad ass paladin override that I got from last year's. Why would I choose a flying pig over my skypouncer? (which I bought with the runecoins I got from last year's premium deal btw) Also, flying pigs should have been offered as part of the bacon quest... or a sequel to the bacon quest.

The member ship is not free. Getting into the premiere club for a few extra bucks is not free either. Gold premium membership costs 80 USD. That is a lot of money. I bought premier membership not only to not worry about paying every month with cards, but also to support JAGEX with their development. I know it sounds ridiculous, but If I liked runescape just as a game, I wouldn't be playing it. It's been my life I guess. I guess I'm just not appreciated by them, but I appreciate them, if you know what I mean. So if you go out saying that it's free membership, it's not. You are paying money to help develop a community. :@

Until you can show me an in-game method that allows you to earn 168m in 2 hours, then I'll stick to paying with cash.

I know when I bought my premier membership and it was in april. They extended it last year because they apparently forgot that in the US our tax season is Jan to April.


Don't even think of calling me a liar I know when I purchased it and am a premier member until April!!!!

i have a question on the package. I bought the year gold package and one of the things I was supposed to get was all card promotional item's for 2014 If that's correct then where is my 50% bonus rune coins or spins for a $25.00 card. 50% bonus is a promo
or am I wrong?
