SOUNDS FUN..
However, I think Jagex needs to learn that in order to gain new players, people should have something to look forward to and enjoy FIRST before becoming a member. People won't pay money over something they're not sure about. When you're a f2p, you are just bombarded with messages EVERYWHERE to PAY PAY PAY and become a member. That turns a lot of people off, so they leave. I know I would.
And plus, making this a member's only even is just a bad and jerk move.
I usually don't mind paying for service/games that I enjoy, but Jagex is not even trying to hide that ALL THEY WANT is money. Seems like they don't even give a hoot about the game/players. Just trying to squeeze every penny before the game dies.

As others have mentioned, it does not appear that candy cane is giving increased winter effect blessing, and neither is Christmas wand. Christmas tree hat doesn't either, but that was not mentioned in the wiki as giving the bonus (but don't know why it wouldn't...)

Would like to state that the Christmas Wand is not giving the "Blessing of winter" while equipped, Idk if that is a glitch or not, but I am reporting this anyway. Also do the pets not count as christmas themed items? since you can only get them during the christmas season.

I have a question why is it listed that Festive Aura gives the Blessing of Winter in the wiki but in game when I wear the festive aura it doesn't give me the added percent boost? Not sure whats going on but any information would be much appreciated to solve this. :)

Okay, I don't know this Mercy character, but s/he has made some several useful point of views. As stated, if there was a toggle then it wouldn't affect those who want, or don't care about the experience. If you don't understand that, or can't grasp it then you are extremely biased and only think of yourselves.

JaGex created this game without expectations of accounts who will limit themselves, yes. They do not condone to the upbringing in such accounts, but they have never actually done anything to spite against them, and actually, if you guys didn't know, love that accounts do this for an extra challenge. I've received e-mails from hem stating so.

Now, when I try to turn my accept-aid off and try my best to avoid getting this experience at all costs, it's bogus that I can still attain it against my will.

Now, why would someone want to challenge themselves like this? JaGex has mad this game more and more easy over the years and a nice challenge never hurt anyone. For example, there is a television show called "***** and Afraid" in that show there is no money reward, but you get stuck in some random island, woods, or anywhere with no food, clothing, or anything. Why do people do this? Some people enjoy challenges with the only reward of simple self-satisfaction.

I understand pure, and/or skillers have tried to plead their case multiple upon multiple times, and there are still so many people out there against them. Pures are practically gone with the development of rs3. So, you won't get overpowered by anyone your same combat level in the wilderness or anything. However, I can't understand why you would spread hate upon skillers? They honestly don't effect you, and if you don't like them you are close-minded, and just don't see that some people choose not to experience everything in the game.

Lastly, what if I say I was a pacifist? Pacifists are totally against violence, and would make their account so they could experience all the great traits of the game without

any combat.

I understand that not everyone will understand, but I tried to put it out there so that some of you can.

When Mod Infinity states that skillers won't gain experience in skills they haven't trained, and I find out that my level 4 friend has gained 1000 bonus experience in strength, which she only had 42 experience in, and 1000 in prayer, which she had ZERO experience in, I get extremely upset. Again, I don't expect all of you to understand. Flame if you want, but she would have not logged in if Mod Infinity never made this statement.

My friend had some previous bonus experience in prayer, and perhaps that is why she attained some, but she did indeed have zero gained, and I am upset she now has to be skeptical every time she plays.

I understand that the population of the threads have been against the skillers' opinions, but I hope JaGex will think logically and open-minded about an action they can take from this. It would really make some of your player happy! =]
