In case anyone isn't aware, you only have to mine once every 10 minutes or so to activate the ring. So you can log in every 10 minutes or teleport somewhere you can mine and then go back to what you were doing. I use the Ardougne cloak teleport to the monastery.

Oh, I'm upset. I've been at lava flow all week using up my rings and you end the event early? What the hell?
Is this true? Jagex please confirm. I have 49 ores plus 5/6 unused rings. Will be very annoyed if I can't use these...

I've got about 240 ores, 2 more rings and 5 gems. That's well over 600k smithing xp, and I'm angry.

just got home from work and logged in. this is not the case and i have just traded in 49 ores. ivar can still be found at the entrance to artisans workshop.

i dont know why people complain for the spins, just remove the cash bags and its basically fine. most the stuff is untradeable apart from the small random items
