No no, don't do that. Don't you dare put a smiley like the only thing we are complaining about is the fact that you made a typing error.
So to sum it up, realise what made this game so great in the first place and why people started playing and have kept on playing and cater towards that. It seems like you are pushing more experienced players away or to 07scape at least and that you aren't attracting many new players.
You need to take a look at the amount of players on the hiscores too. The playercount is dropping and has especially dropped due to RS3. I'm not saying it was a bad update but it could have been done so much better and so that it didn't push many people into quitting. I know that we have done decently well with bots in the past few months although I'm guessing that RS3 messed up some of the bots and their scripts which may have contributed to that. However the member count on the hiscores dropped by around 10k in the last few days and that is certainly as little to do with the banning of the bots as possible, it is from people's membership running out and people not wanting to renew it.
Just read through every response on this thread and the SOF forum section and see what our opinion of it is. Do we sound like a minority to you? Please change your mindset from making as much money as you can, no matter how short term that will be, to attracting as many players as you can, it will be a much better long term solution. And also actually you the extra revenue from micro transactions on ingame content, not more promotions or costumes.
