you do realise that since it'll be almost impossible to get anything other than an xp lamp, meaning that any bought spins WILL affect how well you do in game based on real life spending of money?

if you dont, then heres a simplified version: you are pretty much selling xp, something you promised never to do.

I quit! I have had enough of your not listening! You keep shoving the SOF down our throats. I canceled my membership on 3 of my accounts. I implore all other members who feel like I do, to do the same. The squeal of fortune must go. You are now selling experience points to players & I am sick of what you are doing.
I hope all others who feel like I do, will follow my example & cancel their memberships in solidarity. Cancel your memberships & refuse to pay Jagex for the SOF game. Just Say NO! To gambling. Refuse to pay to play, until the squeal of fortune XP rewards are removed. If you agree with what I said copy this message & re-post it on other threads & forums. Just do not claim & use my words as your own
If you believe IVP & Jagex are ruining this game by forcing the SOF upon us. Spread this message! The more players that join in solidarity & refuse to pay to play, perhaps then Jagex will realize how angry we are about this. If you wont support by quitting, then try to start a class action law suit
Engage some English Solicitors (lawyers) to see if they will bring on a Contingency class action law suit against IVP & JAGEX for exploitation of minors by endangering our children with corrupt & loose morals. IVP & Jagex are teaching our children how to gamble. Children do not realize how addictive gambling can be, only adults know it's danger & even then, many have been brought to ruin due to a gambling addiction
Jagex now shoves it on our children, well aware of the dangers that gambling holds. Jagex doesn't care about our children's safety or in what they are teaching them. If I was in England I would go to the local constabulary to press charges against Jagex for child endangerment & the exploitation of minors
I hope that all adults in London who are reading this post of mine will do so. By that I mean I hope they will go to the police station & try to bring charges against IVP & the Jagex corporation for child endangerment

Jagex, are these the kind of people you want the majority of players to be? Because you're surely acting like it.
PS: Evolution of combat beta: I tried it. It sucks so bad i cried myself to sleep.
Start listening to the community. And don't say "Hey man we brought free trade back thats some listening to the community right there! aha!". Yeah taking away free trade was a horrible mistake. This time you get a chance to stop the end of runescape before it happens. I hope somebody reads my message and if they do copy paste and spread the word!

Here i was thinking that this was an actual update for actual game content, possibly even bonus xp or something along those lines. I was wrong, and somewhat dissapointed. I have kept quiet about the squeal wheel for some time now but on this occasion I was actually logged into the forums so I am speaking out.
It may be true that many will keep playing this game regardless of the SOF but in all honesty the SOF should be thought of less and less and some actual updates should be implemented more often. I liked it when we basically had a new update every week for the game, what happened to those times?
What i am telling you, you already know and I know jagex needs money since they nuked all the bots, I understand that jagex is whipped by a bunch of corporate monkey suits and I understand that jagex has very little say anymore about what happens to their game.
Everyone in Jagex can see runescape heading towards the mainstream, to the cliche and they can't do anything about it simply because of the fact that Runescape is struggling and desperately needs money, either that or it has become a cash cow that will be milked until it is dead.

I'm going to be neutral, but lets put it this way. If you click on the squeal when you log on, you SUPPORT the Squeal of Fortune. Jagex probably has a way to monitor who does and doesn't spin. So when 90+ percent of its player base spins every time they see the stupid goblin, they're supporting the SOF. Sadly, many of you who come onto these boards to rant also probably spinned today.
Jagex keeps what its player base likes. The fact is that most players enjoy the Squeal. Personally I do not, but to keep things interesting, they must add periodic updates. Even if that means a Squeal update every 1-2 Weeks.
Get over yourselves. The dumb Goblin is here to stay. Get used to his quite persuasive expression.
