Let's be honest here - predicting a SOF update these days is like predicting the sun will rise. He might just as easily have predicted the fact that Jagex would ignore all the complaints it generated.

Wow jagex, really? Do you even read the forum posts on this? Or the SoF feedback forum at all? You probably just read the positive ones, which are just about 1 in every 5 pages. Why not read ALL of the posts? Look at the dates on the accounts that complain, or say they're quitting, they are your much older more loyal players who have been shoving money down your throats for years, including myself. We always hope that you'll use that money to IMPROVE the game, not give us worthless updates like the SoF. What's worse is that you don't even listen to us about it and keep slapping us in the face with it by "weekly improvements"! This "Squeal of Fortune" will run you out of business, just wait.

Well, I'm never usually one to complain about an update. I try to find the positive aspects of all things, but really, this is getting pretty pathetic.
You can tell by simply reading all of the posts here on this thread. I don't mind receiving free items and xp every now and then, but when you squeeze the Squeal of Fortune down our throats week after week, it becomes a nuisance. Sit down for a minute and take a break on this silly in-game feature. Yelps needs a time out. Jagex, you're going to lose more players than gain if you continue. Marketing only pushes so far, and you're reaching your limits. I'm definitely beginning to see and agree with people on how this is becoming a real word trading process, and as a veteran player, I'm not pleased with this behavior.
