i am disgusted with the way people act on the forums about updates, its like, really? do more and more angry kids or just plain immature gamers have to give the gaming community a bad name. jagex are a successful company and are doing better than a lot of others for mmos.
asides from that i wish players would be more loyal to jagex rather than stuffing angry comments all over they're forums.
jagex don't shove SoF updates in your face or down your throat, you can ignore them, like all side updates. only the really big updates need a players attention. such as when the GE was released or the wonderful upcoming EOC update.

I hate all the the time when they say subscribe to get 1 extra spin, trying to premote sof when 99% of players hate it...
Why the hell would you subscribe to that unless you are like 12 years old. :L

+1. There's a reason thieving and dungeoneering are my two lowest skills, and that's because I don't enjoy training them that much. So, if I get any of those extra xp lamps with spins this week, I'll be happy.
I guess I don't understand the level of hate for SoF. "Shoving in our faces"? A post on the front page is shoving in your face now? Oh wow, you have to spend 5 seconds a day closing the little goblin when you log in. So taxing. I guess it must be really annoying to not pick up the free spin ticket when you find one while training combat, or having to destroy a ticket when you get one while skilling.
I'm not saying SoF haters should shut up, because it's good for people to post their opinions on updates and such in RS. But my opinion (which doesn't really matter on its own), is that people get too worked up over it. I wouldn't buy spins for myself, but if awsumkid349343023984 wants to spend hundreds on spins, more power to him. It doesn't affect me at all. Well, I guess you could argue it puts more money into the game, but the items I buy have only gone down in price, not up, and that's from bots not spin buyers.
