I'm impressed with the work described in the behind the scenes al Kharid video.
High quality like that is at such odds with the shambles the game is in. Bots have ruled RuneScape all of 2012 and all but two months of 2011. How can anyone play a game in which most of the players are bots?

I have to honestly admit.. the new Al-Kharid is far MORE better than the current Al-Kharid. It's much more realistic, the envoirement is more desert-like, and the graphics.. the graphics in new Al-Kharid is the BEST i've seen so far, keep it up Jagex!
I do agree with few people in this thread that Al-Kharid needs some new contect to actually make it more popular.
But in all honesty, Sof/Solomon store is just a waste of time.. like seriously, it's not necessary . :| If you TRULY care about the Community of Runescape, then you know what you gotta do.. listen to the Community (except ragers, haters etc) and do the right thing. :)
I want Ardougne to get a makeover next! :P

I believe that you should also make few new Contents within the Land that you'll re-work on. Just a suggestion to keep the certain City/Village/Town alive. :) Le Infamous XP Waster... Part-time Demon Flash Mob Hunter; 8 titles found

^I Get no lag in Taverly or Burthorpe nor do I think they look like crap.
Sounds like your just mad about the lag?
EDIT:Can't believe I didn't comment on this thread sooner, I saw this video as soon as it got released.
