No, I did not miss the Santa outfit.

It's just that..

There are a few things that I've missed (like the hats and scarves from on christmas year) That I would absolutely love to see, and be able to have the chance to get again...

However.. Personally.. seeing old holiday items brought back, even just thinking about old items being brought back, just makes them seem less special, less unique. Almost unfair to the people who were around at the time to get these items, believeing that this was their only chance.

So I do not agree with bringing old event items back as rewards.

We need, fresh, new, fun items each year, It's pretty much become the Runescape tradition, more or less.

This event looks fabulous. The decor around gielinor is amazing. Also will players who didn't get the Santa suit be able to claim it this year after they've completed the event? Because in my opinion I think the Santa pack would look good with the suit.

That wouldn't work, for a few reasons.

1) People that have missed out on passed easter, halloween, or christmas events, have not ever gotten the prizes they have missed out on. Party hats aren't ever going to be a returning christmas item, rubber chickens aren't ever going to be a returning easter item. It just doesn't make sense.

2) How would this be fair for people who have already completed these events years before? This year players who missed out get more prizes, than the people who came on all those years ago to claim those prizes, and this year, all they get is this years? If this is the case, then every seasonal event should work like this.

But then.. that's just crazy talk.. so, it's a pretty flawed idea to return old event prizes.
^-^

Santa what's with the blue face? You're not going to have a blue Christmas I hope?

This BTS video promises a lot. For starters, we're finally getting a quest-based holiday event once more! But f2p players should be allowed to dress up like Santa as well. :(

Jagex, this BTS has given a good portrayal of the Christmas event, please don't disappoint by:

1)Releasing it with a lot of bug* that could have been fixed before release.
2)Giving f2p players a pittance when it comes to rewards. (Like the Halloween event)
3)Releasing a cosmetic on Squeal of Fortune that makes the holiday reward pale in comparison. If there must be a buyable cosmetic it should be in Solomon's and on par with the free outfit.

Oh, and your captions have spelling errors.
"Monsieur" not "misouter"
"Wreaths" not "reefs"
(le me being a grammar naz*)

Looks great! I miss this type of mini-quest event, and I'm very happy to see it make a triumphant return into the world of Runescape! The scavenger hunt was good for a one-time thing, but I was really disappointed with its recycling for the Halloween event this year (especially in comparison to last year's, which, even though was more or less a nod off to the new clan citadels at the time, was still highly enjoyable).

I hope to see many more of these mini-quest type events back into the game. VERY excited for this. Great job, guys!

AND it's fully voice-acted? Score!! =D
