As long as this new equipment isn't degradable (don't know if they've specified) I'm happy. And realistically, you only get Chaotics via Dungeoneering. If you're working on your Max Cape, you're going to get Chaotics anyway.

And realistically, yeah this equipment is for 90+ Combat Skills, where is the logic in asking them to make lower level equipment better than higher level equipment?

That just takes them back to before EoC, but with EoC abilities really.

Looking good, might actually have rekindled my interest in PvM with this JAGEX. Member of 13 Squads

Im gonna go in with full Ganodermic which has 0.8% charge remaining so if/when I die it's no big loss...

Also, the weapons ARE degradable. If you read the BTS: January. It states that "All-new kalphite enemies will also drop the resources needed to repair this magnificent new equipment."

ergo, degradable and not repaired by cash but by items dropped by Kalphites

My strategy would be:

4 people stun it restlesly
2 people do barrage ( when those normal kalphites are spawned they will freeze them)
1 of team mates warns others quickly if he spots those magic balls
Remember to use soul split and turmoil

and that green colour, i think its some kind of stunning poison. There is a ability that takes effects off, that might work with that

My strategy will be:
3x Rangers with 2h bows for Incendiary shot.
3x Magers with Ice barrage to stun the team of kalphites that dig up and atk.
3x offensive meleers with 2h\dual wielding attacks.
1x Tank with shield and aggro abilities. [provoke and such]

Since Kalphite King is most likely not stunnable

my death toll guess: 62,437 deaths
The first day, nobody will know what equip is good there, and will most likely die bringing wrong equip

looks awesome, gotta train my range and defence first, not risking grouping it at my somewhat low levels

EDIT: the amount of times i think the kalphite king will be killed is 21,374.

EDIT: the person who hits the most is targeted by the king. even if you have a tank, if they arent hitting more then you, they wont be attacked, you will. I'm expecting groups 12-16 players.

EDIT: i guess also 120,384 bot deaths =D
