I need to specify on my original post (Page 39.) What irks me is that it FEELS like no consideration was really taken for the paying members who have to work long, horrible hours and weekends for places who could care less about them and use RS as a way to help unwind are being punished for it by having an extremely limited window of time in which they'd be able to access the open beta worlds, or maybe it was and Jagex just can't do it. Either way, I would at least like to know WHY open beta isn't going to have full accessibility every day. That much would be appreciated. I'm not saying no consideration was taken, it just feels like it because no explanation was given as to why open beta is going to be restricted to weekends only.
Additionally, I've noticed quite a lot of flaming and spam and just want to say that this is a BETA TESTING for a reason, Jagex has stated several times that what you see now is most likely NOT going to be the final product, yet I see pages and pages of posts where people are acting like this is all set in stone. BETA TESTING IS CALLED TESTING BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT IT IS, A TEST. The point of it is to work out the kinks and bugs so that the final product WILL be good. Just saying 'I hate this update,' isn't going to do a thing if you don't give the details. Explain WHY you don't like it. What specific points of the new system get your goat? Also explain why you don't like it and give suggestions to make it better. If you can't even do that much then the beta tester spot was wasted on you and that's a shame because I was aiming for a spot in the initial closed beta, because I AM looking forward to being a part this game's future, because I do want to give my input in a proper and constructive manner to be used in improving the game and most of what I'm seeing on the thread is just sad and immature.
Feel free to attack my post if you want, you'll be wasting your time. I'm only paying attention to the Jagex and Forum Mod posts now.
