Hello Jagex, This thing is looking fun already!! In response however, to the idea that your are stress testing your system/servers and whatnot, I hope you would consider making that only a temporary idea. I appreciate that you are trying to understand what your system can do, but i can't enjoy the beta or report anything useful to you with the hefty amounts of lag I'm getting in every location on every world... =/

Everytime I start up the beta my game crashes, regular runescape runs fine on my computer ! I am only having this problem with the beta and I've noticed I am not the only one!
Although, what I have seen in the short time I got to play is pretty great, good work!

I've paid from2004 till 2010. And i became member again this january. Whats your point, thats 6 constructive years and alot of months seperated. Account created in 2002, what do i get? No ****** ****. Feel backstabbed for the 100s of €'s ive put into this game.

yet to attempt to log in and haven't checked if I got an email from jagex either......
all being equal...I hope like hades that mods are reviewing these forums and granting access to ore and more players as we speak.....
it would be totally and epically failing to have a total of over10 years membership on 2 acounts and find that after all this hype i can only get in to servers on weekends when things are often too laggy for my wireless mobile modem.

Have seen a lot of good suggestions and many,many apprehensive fears along with quite a few near angry account holders who are peeved that they cannot access the beta.
rest assured if i can't get access after all this time and anticipation i WILL be heading for the RANTS section!

I have been a consecutive member for 4 years as you can see below my avatar, and a member for 7 total, and I have been playing this game at least a year longer than that on f2p, I followed the procedure for signing up for this beta twice, just to make sure, and it said that as a long standing member i would be guaranteed access to this beta. I have had no such email confirming this beta access, which can only mean that i do not have access to said beta. I belive jagex expressly said ALL PLAYERS WHO HAVE HAD MEMBERSHIP FOR 1 CONSECUTIVE YEAR WILL GET ACCESS, not only is this now a blatant misrepresentation, it shows callous disregard to long standing members such as myself, but I'm sure jagex won't care about my words, they will care about the money I pay into their pocket every month. Well I am not quitting, it's stupid to quit over a beta, but nor will I touch this beta on weekends, and rest assured I will not forget this.

im very dissapointed that my brother got in and hes only had his account for 2 weeks of members. meanwhile i played 10 months of members, ive been apart of runescape for 5+ years and yet i still have no access to the beta jagex way to go ruining the game yet again for the people that matter in runescape and that's the vetrans that bust they're ass day in and day out training "claps" just brovo "claps"!

My thoughts on the beta thus far.
Obviously as today is the first day of the newly released beta (looks cool Jagex) it's super laggy. To the point where I almost feel like I can't really test the beta because I move like 1 frame every like 10 seconds. As to be expected since it is that way with all new updates.
One of the things I don't like about the beta thus far. You have to click on the chat box every time you want to type a message to someone. I talk a lot on the game. I am super used to just hitting tab to talk to people. Well now I can't seem to do that. Hopefully ya'll can maybe fix that in the future. It's no fun like that. Though I understand the point of the game is to test the beta out, but it would be nice to be able to discuss new abilities and such with my friends with ease rather than like have to click away from whatever i'm doing at the time being. Tab = best :)
