Absolutely disgusting update, RuneScape's soiled. When this update goes through, I'm quitting my membership and never logging in again, thanks Jagex. You're ruining your best game, hope you enjoy the losses.

Come on Jagex, if you go through with the update, it's just going to ruin the game! People came and played this game because it was an awesome game. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I mean, yea, update the graphics I suppose (void looks terrible now though), re-balance the combat triangle so it's not just Melee-scape anymore, and put a few new things in to make the game fun like adding minigames or new weapons. But to basically throw the special attack bar out the window and make everyone from 10 year veterans to those who just started a week ago re-learn combat in general? Its' crazy, I mean, you guys are just throwing too much at us in ONE update.

Just a question, they say we'll receive an email from them to confirm we've been chosen for the beta. But what is their email? I just want to be sure I really received something from the Official Runescape and not a scammer site or something else.

jagex i know u prob dont care, i know u are most likely doing what the majority of the runescape population, but hear me out... i think its great that you do all that you can to make runescape a better, more fun game to play. but, what u dont realize is your changing the game too much. you are taking the game that we all came to love and turning it into a game that we cannot even recognize. and its making lots of player angry to see this game go downhill the way it is. i know you wont do anything for the power of words mean nothing in this virtual reality but many people do care about the future of this game. and the memories we have all had and shared. it feels like to many others and i that what makes runescape, runescape is going away. and i would hate to see that happen. if you dont have anything constructive to say dont reply... thank you. sorry for the bad punctuation im typing fast and im tired.

i agree to some point... but i think you are way over the line in this argument. no one had that big of a problem with the rs 2 and other stuff bc the game didint change very much. but the entire game is now different and we have had time to test it out. so i think this one may be the killer...

It's alright if you didn't get in the Beta. Watching videos it might just be the dumbest thing I've ever soon, I laugh at how they don't listen to what people like about their game. The only reason JaGeX has a name is runescape, and you completely blew the one game you had. What idiots... I feel bad how fun this game use to be, got worse and worse over the years. Logged on for the first time this year, and it was awful. New armour was horrific. This isn't runescape anymore, I have found a new game, which you guys should do as well. Go play SoulSplit, or Rs2006 when it comes out. ***** this game.

You all have done a fantastic job with the EoC. I am very impressed, and I am glad to see the new direction this game is going. Disregard the ranting of the people who say the game is ruined, once they have a chance to practice and get good, they might change their mind. See, pre-beta, it was simple to click and auto-attack. However, now, players are finding themselves losing in certain pvp situations because they simply don't have a good strategy in mind... and that makes me smile :D . The defensive skills are great, and it gives me a whole new way to own people as a range tank!
The combat level/equation is still the only thing that I really hope changes, because turmoil, ss, olvs, and steel titans/war tortoises still owning people, and they do out-weigh the balance of a fight.
All in all, EoC rocks. See you noobs in Edgeville.
