Well, thank you very much on behalf of many players for giving the option of old servers, JaGEx. Personally, however, I will not be participating in this older version, for my own particular reasons. (Please don't make assumptive claims about me based merely on my view. I have the 2005 Hallowe'en zombie head to prove otherwise.)

Nimrohd and ZaroTigger mentioned briefly about the anticipated "World Wakes" quest, so it should be clear that many look forward to this kind of content aside from the old version of Runescape. Hopefully, you will still be able to deliver to these those players, as well.

Many of us really appreciate all the hard work - pulling all-nighter's just to get the old version up - you have put in, staff of JaGEx... Tyvm once again :) *

You delayed The World Wakes for this?


I was under the impression that this service would be an extra, and not affect main game schedules.
As Moerdred said on page 1, this is unacceptable.

Let me type it again;

Good Gods, I don't like to bash, but what the actual f*** where you thinking?
Stop worrying about these nifty side projects that cater to a clearly smaller minority of players and keep things on track!

TWW was one of the few scheduled updates that met very little resistance or bemoaning.
Apparently, y'all took that as an excuse to delay it.

DO NOT let '07-scape interrupt the REAL, MAIN game AGAIN.
DO NOT.

I appreciate the nostalgia trip as much as anyone else, but keep this in mind;
If directionless, whiny brats with keyboards can quit and cost you money over content that is driving the game forward, what the hell do you think a moderate player can do in response to something that slows the game down?


I expect to explore Guthix's sleeping bag in the first week of March, so help me....

I thought the delayment of the World Wakes would be the only problem here. But the 2007scape took up 60 worlds and some worlds of the main game just switched from OFFLINE to a puff of smoke. Are you serious? the 2007scape is even more filled than the main game. Are you insane? If the quest IS in fact delayed, JaGeX can kiss my pixelated butt.
