They can fly, and we saw how practically all the generals could easily leave in TWW.

Yes they are. They never stopped being a secret at any point. If you can provide evidence from when they revealed themselves to the world that'd be great. Anyway my point still stands their is dialogue telling us they have been missing for many years. There's no way they remembered to change this.

Also Within the Light is not on the list of quests considered to be in the past so they can't have been revealed.

I wonder if you choose to side with a god can u change later?, or u stuck with the god, since the gods in quests can change your mind later, I guess u can change, but I feel I'll better ask to be 100% sure. (though I guess I already answered myself lol)

Somebody changed their affiliation in the bts video if you read the text. So yeah you can change.
