Edit edit: At first when they mentioned customizeable pig pets, I thought it meant that the pet interface is going to be released, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
However, the pig familiars that you can "level up" could be a taste of the possible future Summoning skill rebalance Jagex had talked about a long time ago.
The combat pig looks beastly, I hope I can make it as strong as my strongest combat familiar (spirit dagganoth)
I'm just happy that we are getting more pets
If only we could have a hint to what the July Solomon store pet could be..

It is really a lot of fun to play through + the piggies are cute and bacon is crispy
