Hey and cardinal I just thought of something! Your complaint about the lore components and story not matching up! Look at the requirements for the World wakes! they made the requis simple so lots of players could do the quest but realistically the requirements make no sense storywise. And the recommendation to do the other quests still doesn't excuse it!
You are referencing one quest that changes the age, so if you couldn't do it you'd be somewhat confused, as is i'm confused, do you mean lore components and story as in the whole way lore fits in or like the whole lore for level thing?
If the way the lore fits in then i will also reference one quest, as the reqs add in to themselves.
If you have done Ritual of the Mahjarrat you need to have completed a total of 120 quests, including the fairy series, all the mahjarrat related quests, a tail of two cats, the sea slug series, wgs, pirate series , etc... The way these work involves the rewards and people of each quest and their locations. I wont get into spoilers but basically these quest reqs are all interconnected to make the story make sense.
TWW is a special case by jagex to get people into the sixth age without needing almost every runescape quest, cuz if they did follow convention you would need ROTM and almost every quest.
