To the Jagex staff -
You are the single most popular and best recognized gaming company in the world. Think about that for a couple of seconds. Millions and millions of companies produce games, and you're better than every single one. You could never have attained such a lofty title without the support of your caring community. Please, I beg you, thousands of people beg you, listen to us. Listen to your community.
The SoF is Real World Trading cleverly sugarcoated and presented as a "first party microtransaction". Jagex has always vehemently opposed RWT. Calling it something else doesn't make it right. As a whole, the entire idea of purchasable SoF spins is wrong.
The addition of the fish mask to the Squeal of Fortune put the community in an outrage. Jagex went back on their word a second time and introduced another tradable discontinued item. On top of that, they made it easy for all members to obtain, ******** up the economy pretty bad. Do you know how much of an impact the fish mask had on more valuable items? It wasn't pretty. Overall, the fish masks were a little over the top.
This potential 200m reward took the top and blew it straight through the roof. Hell, it's orbiting Mars right about now. 200m... I've been playing RuneScape for six years and I've never owned that much gold. Now, a brand new player can log in, spin his wheel, and earn more money than I've ever had and likely ever will have with no effort input whatsoever. Why? Can't you see this isn't right?
