Anyone else remember the Behind the Scenes plan for 2013 they posted at the start of the year? If I remember correctly it included something to do with customizing weapons and armour for booss and effects - could this be the realisation of that idea?
So a bit like fishing, a bit like hunting, and a bit like runespan? Fantastic!
Some of the most entertaining and engaging aspects of Runescape gameplay to draw upon. Fingers crossed they'll make it a bit like agility too, as we all know how much everyone just loves training that one.
people have missed something BIG in this video. i took pictures of the 2-3 frames these showed up for and discuss what they mean on my youtube channel "zenneon gaming" take a look if you would like, its basically showing permanent buffs, min and max level for making things, and a few other noteworthy things

I'd rather it was like Agility than Hunter / Fishing, I really dislike them two.
I am not looking forward to the fact that it's AFK but well there you go, sometimes you have to deal with things you don't like
Shuttleduck said : It looks nice, and I'm excited for there to finally be a new skill! But, it also looks super grindy. It may just be because I've been playing since late 2002, but I'm tired of almost every skill essentially being the same just with different graphics. "Click. Wait while character does some animation. Click. Repeat Repeat Repeat."
If Jagex makes a skill that ISN'T grindy and/or the same as every other skill but with different animation, now that would be awesome... To be fair, I don't know if that's truly possible on an mmorpg. But it would be nice if Jagex could pull it off!
I think dungeoneering was the closest to pulling such a feat off. It's my favorite skill as well.

Hunting imps in Mos le harmless wasn't grindy. It was actually fun, good xp and money.
