*gives old place a new coat of paint*
...
I know! Let's force people to play it again by ripping out the old quest and force people to redo it and call it a new quest! Yeah!

Is not amused.

Yea nothing worse then making a bland quest more epic, going us new rewards, and bonus exp. (even more for higher level chAracters). Gotta hate when they do that. :)

Unfortuantely remakes tend to be rather unrewarding for us who already completed the original ones.
As we do NOT recieve quest points for completing them.

Remakes are pretty stupid and should be entirely new quests on their own.
Thers no reason not to.

Quest points aren't the only rewards you get from a quest.
I have the quest cape myself, but if you do quests for the quest points alone, that's pretty... strange. I'll put it that way.

No its not the only reward, but it is an important one.
Like I said, there is no valid reason for making these dumb remakes, they should be new standalone quests.

Quest points aren't important unless you're going for the QP cape or Comp cape. If you feel QP's are a really important part of quests, perhaps you should re-evaluate why we have quests in the first place. The rewards are just kind of a bonus for doing them in a sense.

Divination, a new quest, and the long awaited update to the loyalty programme...This is going to be a great month. :) I like things. Combat-related things. I don't like Brains...but I still got them on dxp(
My Bernie dreams live on....

This looks like a great line-up.

@Divination - I'm kinda on the edge of my seat. Some things make it looks awesome (concept art), but I'm kinda worried about other things (no more things like resource dungeons please...). Either way, I'm super excited for it to come out.

@New Quest - Excited for graphics.

@Loyalty/Solomon's - I like this. Should have been done a while ago. I'm glad they left aura's strictly to the LP though.

@BoL - If only you'd increase the shard drop rate, the battle would be 10x better.

Hey Mod Mark,
Love that you are combining solomans and loyalty shop, and buffing the rewards system, as there are many many items players would like to own, and takes away the stigmatism of 'bought' items.

I would however like to see backdated rewards for all the loyal players who have stuck with RS through thick and thin.

*points at member since xxxxx on forum******;

Rewards like this is good press, and I am sure every long term member would be more than happy with you doing this.

P.S. is Andrew back in charge of Jagex ? We have not had many gratification updates like this in a while :D

Cheers
Krewlness :D

It worries me that people are so used to Jagex recent poor performance that they are getting hyped up over this.

Divination - Yay a new skill for 2013! Wait, weren't we promised 2? Oh, that's now another year away, despite it being a companion skill to Divination. That's like releasing fletching as a skill, but range a year later.

The Death of Chivalry - Instead of a new quest, they're just remaking an old one. Perhaps the next quest should be called "Ship of Theseus" (Wiki it if you've never heard of it).

Loyalty Programme - After years of neglect they're merging it with microtransactions. At the moment Auras are not purchasable with real life money (assuming it's not bugged), but I can't help wonder if this will change in a couple of months time "In response to players' requests" .

Actually thats entirely false, as there is a lot of content that is directly dependant on Quest Points.
