Thank you for the response, Mod Phoenix. It's just frustrating to find out that you release content meant for large groups and then also release untradeable drops that don't appear when CS/LS'ing.

For example, Hard Mode God-Wars and the Soulstones drops.


I hope this doesn't end up being the case with Vorago.

Looks like a crispy month ;) What are you mostly looking forward to, guys?

Definitely the announcement. New Game Engine isn't a small task. I'd like to see the water be less gelatinous, but I am excited none the less.

- The 200th quest is a small low lvl quest (i thought we voted for the "next quest"?)
- One overhyped (like all bosses when released 'the strongest we ever released!!&quot ;) boss

Not the 200th quest, nor was the vote for the next quest to be released. It was for one of the 3 listed to start development.

Last month, the posting Mod mentioned that Jagex wasn't going to commit too many things to the BTS since with all the work being done to the RS3 graphical update, you quite frankly couldn't guarantee that all things could come out.
Yet in June, we did see a few other updates come out that were not in the June BTS.

Are there other content based updates pending that might get released in July?

Or are what is in the BTS the only major updates we're really going to see?

Really enjoying the crown promotion at the moment; striving to get free spins and skill for those seeds but...incredibly disappointed by todays behind the scenes. Already knew the quest and boss were coming :c

Wow, two whole updates: A low level quest which will probably take sub 1 hour to complete and a boss that probably has such generous drops as a rune platebody, a couple noted rocktails or maybe if we're really lucky a dragon chainbody. Expect to see scores of duoers a week or two after release if the junk drops aren't suitably worthwhile to make risking your bank worth it.

If you want people to resubscribe, this is not the way to go about it.

Hey, gonna let you finish, but how about waiting for the content first? We know their track record with bosses. It's Mod Chris L, so I guess I shouldn't be that skeptical, but Runescape's drop system is so messed up regarding what level monster drops what level gear. The lack of standardised gear above level 50 is part of the issue, but also that Jagex seems to have the insane idea that bosses should have a 1/100 chance of being profitable rather than being difficult to kill and netting a decent reward for your time and effort.

Nothing kills the motivation to try a new boss like the first three kills being piles of sharks.
