I don't know a lot about this html5 crap but from what I have seen and gathered from reading and playing games is that this update wasn't meant for use pc gamers one bit. This update was aimed at xbox/ph/tablets without too much regard for use pc players. This is why they are always saying you can play it in java. Get use to it people it isn't about the quality anymore its about quantity. It's better for them to have a steady force of short term users rolling through the game than it is to have long term players. This way they can do as they like and have no one to answer too. HIGHLY displeased, been playing Runescape for years... since 5th grade I'm now 20 in college. The game is fine as is and, has more than enough to keep one busy. Watching Runescape slowly evolve into a money ran company with t-shirts, squeal of fortune, and even funorb? I believe that you should not fix something that is not broken. If I want to play a mmorpg with features of eoc I would play wow. I hate eoc. I hate the constant updates. I hate how ya'll have turned a game into a buisness. It is a GAME sooner or later you are going to lose everyone who plays, because quite frankly I know a lot of people are sick and tired of updates. New skills? Divination? kidding me? we have enough skills, Dungonering is that not a skill-able mini game? why was dung max set to 120 instead of 99? is divination going to be 120 also? I would go back to "07 scape" but whats the point? It will disappear just like rs classic did when "07 scape" was runescape.

I am only one person, I can not change the minds, weeks and months of software development to further dig this games grave,slowly but surely you guys are doing it! Great job on that, do you know your statistics of characters age and how long they have been playing? To me the "polls" you gain information and opinions on game improvements seem to get 10-12 year old* excited so that you can gain monthy payments from their mommies credit cards. I mean Bestiary, seriously guys?


One man created a better game from his moms basement then, 100 of you "college grads" did.

Meh. Runescape players are notorious for complaining about each and every change ever possibly made and not daring to suggest reasonable solutions. Maybe I'm just lucky, but in my experience in online games RS players are, I could even say, UNIQUE in how much they complain. What could Jagex possibly do to change RS for the better? Most people would answer me (and HAVE done) by just saying "NOTHING, DONT CHANGE IT" or something drastic like "get rid of all updates in the past 2 years".

So, since you're deleting players' comments because they proved this is an absolute crap idea:

You have now ruined the one and only unique MMO which we all started with, by converting the game in to another World of Warcraft.

When will you ever learn that a game has to be unique in order to keep players, or they will return to where it's copied, as it's not a greater advancement and identical to the original.
