Well even though it will be most likely added to the party room, there exist parties with slow classical music, so I guess almost any music style would be ok :) When you feel stuck in depths of guilt, you're not alone as it is the path of many.
But the smartest don't stay stuck, they get on the path of repentance.

I also have a few questions concerning the submission:

1.) What type of format are you looking for?


(I use an online composition website that has very high quality audio and sheet music; I think it would be beneficial if I were to send a link to the audio and recording but I can also save the composition as a WAV file.)

2.) Will the current idea of placing the winning composition in the Party Room affect the decision of picking a winner? I think it would have been nice to know where it would possibly be placed before I was finished with my entry.


Looking forward to hearing a response and the results of the competition! I've been waiting a very long time to be able to enter a Runescape community challenge that I could actually do.

P.S: Props on the new soundtrack music! As a music education major I've never been more excited for the future of Runescape.

They said it have to be in a mp3 format with the highest quality available :)
I made mine @48k hz, 32bit, 320kbps, 512-point sinc cause I don't think mp3 can get higher than that.. Wav can get a lot higher yeah but I guess the load times for the rs music will get too big if the quality gets too high When you feel stuck in depths of guilt, you're not alone as it is the path of many.

Fair enough, I certainly won't rule out the possibility of people having proper equipment as I myself know a couple people with it, just none with an interest in RS. Hope you guys don't let me down! BTW, my brother also produces electronic music. If you have any interest in checking it out his soundcloud username is ThuuN, mind sharing yours?

can we use any runescape song or just theme song because alot of the other songs i like more. can we uses snip-its/loops of other rs tracks. and can i use my own loops and add them to the song as long as the loops are created by me. (and how are you going to be able to prove people are not stealing drum loops or other samples that are not theirs). i make my own loops but how can anyone prove its their loops in there remix.
i am using Fruity loop Studio (like many) and i think these Questions are important.
