Hello Jagex and Players, I like to discuss this milestone that we are reaching. First of all I would like to say congratulations on this wonderful spark of Runescape. However I got some concerns about this as far as everything goes and if you think about it, we would of reach this milestone a long time ago If Jagex would have allowed it.
One of my concerns is that Jagex hasn't really been with the players 100% and I’m not trying to put down the game or no offense to Jagex, However I feel like they haven't really gave the players of what we really wanted. All I seen is Jagex does updates of what they think it’s a great idea which in some cases it has been but in A lot of cases, It has done more harm to the players then good. I believe that the costumers should always be first in most cases and let Jagex read and bring our ideas to the table. I notice that Jagex has read some of the players threads and took some of the stuff into concentration However, I like to see this a lot more and actually have some voting polls going on such as an example of the Squeal wheel.
Clealy the Squeal wheel has taken a toll on the Runescape Economy and the market itself and actually a lot of the vets players has actually quit Runescape because of this reason. Then Jagex had a brilliant idea of doing real world trading through them which is completely shocking as Jagex Rules stake that Real World Trading against there rules and I believe even Jagex has to follow their own rules if they set them..
Another thing that a Player has brought up, how many of the Runescape population is bots? Bots are growing rapidly in the game more than ever and I haven't seen any action after the bot updates... and there is so much more I can name what jagex has done... To shorten this statement up, I want to leave something to Jagex that I hope they remember... Jagex... You have to keep your players happy to be successful... Power to the Players, you all look like your all are money hungry and it needs May The Force Be With You!

to S T O P! I'm a player that has been playing for five years and I care about the game... I don't want it to see it go under in the next year or two which I'm Afraid it might and Yes I do have concerns about it. We all do, We love this game so much that why we pay for members... We can simply move onto other game and systems and pay as much for a game that is worth it. The best thing you all can do is let the players decided on what route the game does and let us put in the idea's that we have... Of Course I can go on and on but it probley won't make a difference so thank you Jagex for what you done so far.

Seems a bit hollow really, given how few of those accounts represent genuine players; but I'm just old-school values.
Reading this thread I detect an undertone of cynicism. I am not all sure your community wholeheartedly share your joy here Jagex. Perhaps it would have been better to quietly let this one tick over.
How about finding a way to celebrate your genuine players instead?

Just to say how many of those accounts will truely be used for a day +....
About every hour, one account made will be used for at least a day. The counter grows like every second and is a bot account.

The sad part about all this bots speculation, is that everyone is being labelled a bot. People love to try to test out whether your a bot or not the minute you log in. Yes, there are bots but your assumptions can't accurately pinpoint whose a bot and who is not.
Someone not talking, does not make them a bot. Wish some of you would stop afk'n long enough to have a proper conversation, in fact lay off the skype, let's get the talkative rs community back. In any event, that's a topic for another time. A low level with high skills does not make them a bot, I got many a skiller friends whom I respect that would rather not focus on combat. Those weird names does not make one a bot, I got a friend been playing for years who created a weird name after abandoning his mid level account just to mess with the shortsighted.
Those people coming in, could very well be legitimate players hearing about rs and wanting to play. Yes, some could be bots, but don't just assume the worst. Pures are players too, though some people regard them in almost the same manner as bots, sigh. The thing is a new player is like a newborn child, once they are born, their birth is registered. Now if the child winds up becoming a criminal, nothing can be done, they choose their own path.
