it said on ur " recruit a friend " page that we get memship after sucessfully inviting a friend ! but after i made my friend register for R.S through my invitation it said: i would get memship if my friend does !!! can any1 tell me that what is the case here >>>
im really lookin forward to a reply

Runescape 2 evolves into Runescape 3.
To play Runescape 3 you must use a web browser which is html5 compatible, the only one i'm aware of is Google Chrome.
If you don't have a compatible browser or it's not compatible with your computer, you can still use the Java version, which would look like Runescape 2.

Runescape 3 will only be supported by Mozilla Firefox if it gets updated to be html5 compatible, which should happen some time in the near future for most browsers.

If you try to play Runescape with a browser that doesn't support html5 you will still be able to play using Java.

Runescape 3 is a Graphical update, where Evolution of Combat (eoc) was an update for the games combat mechanics.

Your account will stay as is, keeping all of its items and stats.

Hi omair10000,
Not the right thread to post in for this, but I've got the answer for you.


On the Recruit a Friend page it does say "For every friend you recruit you'll get up to a month of membership completely free!".

In the Recruit a Friend Terms and Conditions, it does state that the friend you recruited has to Purchase a month of membership within 30 days of you recruiting him to play Runescape for you to get up to a months membership free,

I use a Google Chromebook for my classes and I was wondering, with the release of RS3, will I be able to play the game on the chromebook when I am on break, etc? Even on the most basic settings, as the chromebook isn't the most powerful of devices.

Its pretty good so far, I just REALLY REALLY REALLY HATE how everything is wayyyyy to big for the screen. For example the map and inventory. it really really bugs because I can hardly see the screen. Otherwise it is fine, just wish that it wasn't so confusing. Great job so far with it, and I hope you continue adding to rs3! :D

Problem (in short):

Can't log into the HTML5 beta game, the menu freezes.

Problem (in full):

I go to log into the HTML5 version of the Beta in Chrome, the screen freezes. Not the Chrome window, the Runescape UI. Sometimes I can type in my username and pass but can't hit Login. Sometimes I can't even click in the box and there's no '|' to type in the form fields. One time I managed to log in then it froze on the welcome part of the lobby screen. Also the mute button, settings button etc do not work.

What's going on? My laptop is only 1 year old and can run XCOM and BioShock Infinite on almost full graphics at a great framerate.

Specs:

- Intel Core i5-3210M 2.5GHz (boost to 3.1GHz)
- NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M with 2GB VRAM
- 8GB DDR3 RAM
- Running Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64bit
