To fix the screen freeze at login screen, go to settings on top right in google chrome, click settings, click show more advanced, scroll to privacy settings and click something that says privacy content( there are two to click, it's prolly the first one). Scroll to mouse cursor and click exceptions, it should have runescape.*** allowed, click box and block it. It should work now. It worked for me.
