Was quite happy (and lucky) to be chosen for the beta in spite of not having any of the premium memberships.

However,

I had the "unexpected response, please try another world" 2 or 3 times. Then it asked me to apply JAG even though I'm using the same computer I always use, that I originally installed JAG on. I managed to log in after that to a black screen, the chat bar and my side bar loaded but it quickly crashed giving me a "Wowsers, something didn't quite go to plan, sorry."

I optimized all my settings to as low as they possibly could be and it crashed even faster than before, didn't even load up anything.

I'm using Google Chrome and have tried several times now. Will try again later today, no complaints though - can't be perfect on the first day, haha.

I'm sorry you feel like that but this is a beta to help generate feedback and test content, not early access. Sadly we can't have everyone in a beta at this early stage as it would cause more problems and make gathering feedback next to impossible.

Everyone will be able to enjoy HTML 5 in future so whilst you may not have access now you will be able to experience the final released version at maximum optimisation.

I seem to be one of those who get very low FPS. I think I'll let it be for today, and check back tomorrow - there's no enjoyment to be had from 3-7 FPS. And at low settings, it truly isn't that different from Java version. The atmosphere feels a lot darker somehow though, maybe it's just the shadings?

But sure was a laugh to have the Saradomin church in Lumbridge to look like it was razed to ground. Well, until it loaded to its full glory a minute later! :P

EDIT: I had to go through that JAG stuff too - and I'm playing on the same computer I've used before. Weird, eh?

Hey Mod Crow,

My version of chrome I believe is the most up to date from what I can find.
My version is Version 26.0.1410.64.

As for leaving it, it has been sitting in the lobby for probably 10 - 15 minutes. Is there a recommended amount of time you suggest?

Even though my FPS is low, I gotta say the Graphics details, bloom, colors and the shadows especially(they are exact of all models even scenery) looks great.

However the inventory is no longer transparent, and all items have Shadow - does the same on Bank and seems to drop even more the FPS
