I love the update except for a few things.
Why do we get gold/silver tickets now?
It is annoying for one that we get them in inventory, so we have to bank after ea game and i don't see why this change was made.
Reward just gold tickets at win - 3 at draw - 2 and loss - 1.
And as i said before the stacking is awfull, no fun playing games where you have to compete against stacked team and end with scores like 9 - 0, no wonder when full profound can only be bought with gold tickets.
It's either win or leave....having no fun at all playing CW atm...

Dear Jagex Please help me My little brother cannot log in on his accoutn anymore, he wanna to change his pass but 2 min after he got no mail of you, and he cannot log in anymore so his runescape Name: Mort de maki if you can help him with it, he can't go to the forums anymore and much more so if you can fix that, he realy want to play agian.

@ALYSSA Xx This is going to sound rude, however you are an idiot. Do you even read the homepage posts or forum posts? If they did what you were suggesting, then there would be no point in changing the way tickets are now, would there? It'd be the exact same. Why they did change it though? How about you actually read what's been posted. You shouldn't need to be told a second, third or even fourth time, which a loud minority of people on these forums need to.

- - Also I like this update. I'm still a bit unsure of the addition of familiars being allowed into the games, but i have faith it won't turn out to be like Soul Wars (hopefully).

Had a few games earlier and the graphics and rework have made it more fun to play. Shall be doing it more often from now on. :)

@Mod Asherz... with all due respect thats a huge copout. in 2012 I was and am 84 levels from maxing my stats. to go back and play 2007 I would completely have to start over from scratch having all that I and many others have worked for since 2006 go to waste Its a total kick in the face to your loyal players.

Oh and one more thing you can pass on to your team at this second there are only 68k players online.. I wonder why Report the WBM'S - Do not try to pretend to be a Forum moderator only posts with a green border on them are those of a Forum Moderator and itll be very obvious if you do!"It's against the forum rules. Simple as that.

Having been lured with 3 gold tickets, I bit on April 10 and here is my review of CW.
I have to admit, I enjoy playing CW. I played approximately 8 games and it was well worth my time. The visual updates are well done and nicely rendered. Refreshed, yet still familiar; I had no trouble finding my way around. The entryway to the castle with the portals is well done, as is the waiting area where I was turned into a sheep and rabbit; lots of fun. The underground is in keeping with the other dungeons and caves in RS with rocks and water; great atmosphere, so also a very nice update.

Yes, the game was laggy, but I went underground and found it to be a better spot to battle in.

I will say Level 200 is not accurate depiction of ability for many players because I was able to take them on, and take them down solo, and this was melee using only my zgs. Something is off there. As a CB 174, I really am that level. My various CB stats are around 85 (excepting range and prayer, both at 75), and so 174 is an accurate picture of my play/combat ability. I believe I read somewhere that you are planning to rectify this discrepancy.

I played full screen on the RS platform, not on Chrome or IE. There were times where my field of vision was blocked by the stat bar at the top. It is too big and I kept reading it wrong; I did not find the top scorebox understandable or intuitive. Also, I did not understand what the gigantic box on the left side was. I stopped looking at it, but it does block also. I had my chatbox closed down and my backpack closed as well to free up some space.

Having the bandages on the bar is just excellent! Thank you for that. Makes tanking so much easier in CW. Great idea to have a silver ticket when on the losing team; it’s necessary as CW takes 20 minutes and this may encourage/incentivize others to play more often.

I switched from wearing dragon plateskirt/drag boots/bandos top/no-it’s-snot helm to my plain Void Knight with dragon boots/Viking helm and found that I was better protected overall. I could only use darts a few times to good effect when in the materiels room w/the ladder to the basement.

If I wanted to play CW more consistently, I would find a clan to join who specializes in playing CW against other clans. Only that way can you insure that there won’t be agent provocateurs and other pains-in-the-neck purposely blocking the doorway from the respawn room with their titans.

Since I do not consider myself a CW specialist, I like the update overall. I still wish you would fix Pest Control. There used to be a little bit of strategy—it was never much—but you did have to protect the altar and the knight. The monsters are still not strong enough. People go in with godswords and the ports go down very quickly. You really have to hustle now to make 5,000 points before the game ends. And I have stopped playing PC, which is why my CB stats have not budged all year.

Altars in each spawn room, so there's an easy way to replenish your prayer points.
Helms can now be taken into the arena. - Make it like DG altars, you can only recharge 2000 prayer points a game.

Wait times have been reduced and the number of people required to start a game is now 2 per team.
- This is a bad idea. Now us pro cwers can't 1v1 anymore! :(

Ice spells now have a staggered bind time, the binding shot ability has had its bind time reduced and, while in the arena, the smash ability now has a 60% chance to hit.
- good, make it so the smash ability can be used with a staff again
- give kick a 100% success chance if wielding a spear or staff

Yay for Castle Wars updates though. :)
